國民黨主席洪秀柱今(20)日二度邀連戰、馬英九、吳伯雄、朱立倫等4位前主席至中央黨部共商黨務。會後由黨秘書長莫天虎轉述，對於不當黨產條例的違法違憲、黨產會濫權作為，馬總統非常不以為然，並認為黨產會做法有點像「法西斯政權」，應該讓國內外都了解。
媒體詢問， 8月19日洪秀柱首度邀請前主席時會談時，馬英九就已經表示過希望黨中央加強國際宣傳，為什麼今天再度提出？莫天虎表示，「馬前主席提到這件事情，顯然認為我們做得不夠」，所以希望黨中央在這一方面要持續加強。
國民黨文傳會主委周志偉補充說，在馬前主席上次到中央黨部開會之後，已經針對在台灣的國際媒體舉行過兩場記者座談會，也陸續跟許多駐台的外館、商務辦事處等代表進行交流。
周志偉表示，最近也特別向熟悉國際宣傳的資深前輩請益，近期之內會提出相關做法，包括持續投書或再辦一場中外記者會，對外界再次說明。
